aparently there is a thread somewhere, 1500 people got banned for soloing dungeons to make some gold. is that true?

Depends on what is ment by "soloing".
If you are really soloing it (with one character), then this is legal. If you by solo really means dual-boxing / multi-boxing, then it is not allowed.

I think the 1500 people was meant as (up to) 1500 characters (=150 accounts, where some people accounted for more than one account). Just guessing though.

Assuming there's legimately 6,000 players on this server, 25% of 6000 is 1500.

Can't tell if troll or idiot lol. If the max peak population has been 6k or there of. Not EVERYONE in every time zone has been logged on at the same time. Theres alot more then 6k different people playing 6k is just the max amount at 1 time that has all logged on.
