Ban these casinos already

What better way to teach kids about gambling and probability than to let them gamble away fake money in a video game? And if chat is too spammy for you, should we also ban guilds from advertising, or people trying to sell enchantments? These also contribute to large paragraphs popping into chat, so it'd be unfair to ban just the people spamming about casinos. I think the fairest solution is to let them exist and allow players to ignore them, which you already can.

I went to gamblers anonymous for 6 months and thought I got over my gambling addiction until this past weekend in Ironforge. I have since relapsed and am currently betting on the NCAA womens national championship tonight. Casinos should NOT be allowed.

Have to agree with the OP here. These casinos are only good for the select few that are good at deceiving the rest that the odds aren't stacked in the house's favor. It also funnels an ever-increasing amount of gold to this handful of people. There's a reason they've been banned on the majority of other private servers and on retail as well. Hopefully Nost devs will pick up on this and follow suit.

if someone is wasting their time advertising a casino in fucking org all day, that should be clue #1 to their idiot "customers" that they're going to lose. who runs a casino that loses money?

unfortunately, people are immensely stupid, and so if these accounts aren't directly banned we're going to turn org and IF into scummy red light districts. I'd rather not have to ignore ten people every time I hearth.
