WoW always did something about afkers. I believe with most of their offences it was a graduated ban. First was usually 24 hours, second offence 72 hours, third offence was a ban. Most likely this way people learned their lesson and didn't do it again, meanwhile repeat offenders who will continue anyways are removed.
. afking in a bg is just standing there doing nothing sometimes ppl have to open the door like someone mentioned we should get a clear set of rules made by a gm or more specific info on this. sure as hell dont wanna be banned because my sister forgot her keys -.-
