Seems legit to me. Don't be lazy. Level up your own toon. Even if it was given to you for free to play, the ToU covers no gifting. I don't see any specification that they meant commercially only either. My friend frequently logs into my account to help level my profession while I'm working, and this has never been sanctioned, because account sharing IS allowed. But they were obviously able to tell the difference of you guys sharing, and you obtaining ownership of the account completely. Seems more than reasonable that they'll allow the original owner to reclaim the account. You just seem upset. Most people who get caught breaking a ToU normally are. Move on.

Comparing a World of Warcraft private server bans to Stalin is in no way logical. This story is just another "My friends gave me the account" when that could easily be a cover up of "I just bought it and don't want my money to go to waste". Account sharing has never been allowed, and certainly not on here. Stop trying to defend cheaters.

The staff is complete shit, i once got chat muted for 2 days because the GM checked something I said about him on guild chat. I made a report on power abuse and they said someone from the guild must have reported me. Yeah sure, the other 2 people online at that time who are my best friends sure reported me.
