Stability is of course a hard thing to predict.
But for me it's mostly about the fact that Kronos only has one full-time dev.

Who wants to spend countless of hours on a project that one young college guy is working on?
In that age he could be away working full-time for some company that's interested in his skills.
That would mean the server is dead.

Funny truth about this is that even tho kronos have only 1 developer that guy did more and better job then 16 nost. developers over 4 years . Server will not die if he leaves , twinstar simply asing new developer/s to kronos , nothing dies so stop pulling lies out of your a..

depending on how much you are into Kronos development you might as well tell a lie.
you can never be certain except if you put the two databases besides each other.
it completely depends on the way of problem solving and what problems you solve.
do you solve the result or the cause.

without all info everyone is pulling stuff out of their *arrow to the knee*

I'm not sure if Chero was a dev on the other Kronoses, but I haven't seen anything else than promo videos from Kronos. They look good sure, but there hasn't been any open tests.
So saying that one is better than another is impossible until both servers are released and tested.

Okay, it might not die. But it would definitely be at a standstill.
And if there's so many developers around with the skillset, time and experience that Chero has why is there only one guy working there? It's not like developers grow on trees.

Just look at the latest wake up call from the Twinstar management when there wasn't a single update for at least a month. And please we all have different opinions on the matter - but try to not call names. It makes the discussions sink so much lower.

Look at kronos bugTracker theres your proof whats fixed, and it does not even contain all the fixes like some mechanics etc. + you can check changelog. something that is nonexistand here.

Yes he was, for 4 years +/- , theres no need for open beta on kronos because there is plenty of COMPETENT testers with acces to server anytime, Nost. needs open betas because they dont have those testers.

I might be wrong, but i read several times, on Kronos and Nostalrius forums alike, that people misinterpret the development state of Kronos, only because Chero is the only "main" developer left today.

He just recently became the only full-time dev btw, so it was, nor will be all on him alone. There are several volunteers as far as i understood = why the worries?

Since Kronos is almost ready for release, i am more concerned about the lack of gamemasters and overall moderation, the same counts for Nostalrius.

Kronos is getting some good publicity from this forum.

Seriously, can we have a discussion about our server without comparing it to others that are competitors? They almost always devolve into shit slinging anyway and will get closed...

Dude, have you seen their bug tracker? The server is nowhere near ready for release, and won't be for months.

Edit: just checked, the last fix on the tracker was 16 days ago, and the progress bar hasn't moved in a good while.

To come back on the main topic, there are some videos showing the stability.

You are right, i won't bring it up again. I should've used personal messaging for this.

So on topic:
I've never understood why pure donations are so rarily found on private servers. I would gladly donate some money here and there for the service provided, without the need of vanity items.
