Word! Wpvp in STV is inevitable. Most faction collision is gonna happen there. I imagine allready all the skeletons laying arround Nesingwary's Expedition, and people start getting afraid to turn in quests

But I also used a NE Hunter. Quite amusing to have your stealth cat do the killing for you. Stealth cat and Eyes of the Beast was too much fun. I'd send the pet into towns on its own to kill players as Rogues and not even need to care if it died. One sinister thing I'd do is just place the cat on "hold" in a popular area such as Nessy, in stealth, on aggressive mode, while I'm in Shadowmeld somewhere(often AFK), and let it kill everyone that came along entirely on its own. Player comes in, cat ambushes from stealth, kills them, returns to stealth. I didn't have to do a damn thing. :) I also dual boxed enemy chat channel, as Angwe, so it was amusing to see "Can someone kill this skull con angry cat killing everyone at Nessy camp?"

I'm not sure if i want to congratulate, or despise you for that xD - a little of both i suppose.
But i'd consider starting a raid with 30s-40s in that zone to bring down your cat - the scourge of nesingwarys camp.

Which brings me directly to point:

Wpvp needs those kinds of initiative and intervening readiness. People should be interested in grouping up together, even if ganked by 60s in a levelling zone.
By todays standards it's all rumours and dust - those old stories of raging wars which lasted for days, ignited by bold ganking attempts or mere trespassing alone. Similar to old "neverending" Alterac Valley, which i hope to relive as well.

And Tarren Mill, oh Tarren Mill...
Failing to succeed does not mean failing to progress.

It's not like it didn't happen to me every day. But I wasn't one of those players that went onto Blizzard's forums, tissue box in hand, to sob and cry about how the mean Alliance killed me or wiped out a town I needed to use to quest. Like other true players back then, I just dealt with it, which basically means doing it to other people. This encourages them to do the same and the cycle continues to incite more of it, creating a world full of PvP. Do you want a dangerous and exciting world, or do you want the one you have today on retail, totally sterile, boring, and lifeless? Also, being Horde, which was horribly outnumbered, we had to represent. It was a service ganking Alliance zones... think of it as population control.

Damn now I'm thinking of playing a hunter. I have no idea what to roll... Too many classes are appealing.
