As anti-troll as I am, I gotta agree with the GM. It's all part of the adventure. Just now I was exploring Arathi, skinning raptors and having a great time when a night elf druid crossed my path. For a bit she just stood there. I was packing a bowl, so I didn't want to fight. To communicate this, I began to dance. She spit on me, which led me to believe she'd attack despite being two levels lower than me. I hastily put down my bowl incorrectly, spilling some on my keyboard. Little did I know she had a rogue friend, possibly her jealous gnome loverboy. I tried and failed to escape. Luckily for me, two other horde came at just that moment so I was able to ankh. I healed myself and ran in, I bursted her down to a sliver, /nod and meleed to death. I tried to get away, but the rogue was having none of it.
Thankfully by the time I got to my corpse the other two horde had beaten back to rogue and there was no one around so I buffed up and looked for more raptors. I happened upon a human warlock 4 levels higher than me at low health. I decided to strike him down- he was caught off guard by my grounding totem. Then I saw a night elf priest fighting a raptor and ganked her as well. Her raptor, and another I gathered while ambushing her started hitting me hard, but I used AoE and heals so was able to kill them both. But before I was able to loot either of them, druid and rogue are back on top of me, killing me easily.
I ran back to my body, saw no one around. I decided to try and loot the raptors again, and was killed before I could touch them. After a while of watching them dance around my corpse they ran off so I decided to run into a bush as far from my body as possible. I tried to ghost wolf away, but they led me into Refuge Pointe guards to I took rez sickness. I was gonna try and make to to Hammerfall or whatever it's called but I saw a warlock, possibly the one from earlier so I just instalogged.
Nost is an all out war. Fought forever, over the entire face of Azeroth. In that moment, hat's off to the alliance, they won. But thankfully I can imagine at that moment and constantly since I started writing this post, STV is full of max level horde characters with nothing better to do than terrorize lowbies. So that at least softens the blow. And I got something positive to contribute to the forums out of it. So that's something.
And all because I danced trying to pack a bowl.
