Yea, I get your point. If you want to minmax engineering is the goto. For raiding ench/tai + herb/alch is the best if you dont want to buy things on the ah a lot of the time. But for an average person anything thats fun for him is nice But since the most played classes will be rogue/warr I guess bs/lw will never be in a shortage.

There arent any noteworthy BoP LW items, you might aswell have an assigned guildie do it for you, speaking of actual gain from professions, you got very few options, you can benefit from professions of other chars/players, except engineering(Both for the PvE and PvP gain), so I'd pick that if I were you.
