Its easier to just tell people to try the game out. Most people don't bother with forums. They just log in and play.

One thing I notice other servers doing is posting advertisement comments under every video on Youtube that they can find which relates to the same patch as the server. Look up any video and you'll see someone commenting about Kronos.

The Nostalrius facebook page has a lot more likes than Kronos. So I wouldn't underestimate how many people are interested in this server compared to Kronos.

This is actually how I found out about Rebirth back in the day. So it does work well.

The biggest french server also does something similar and reposts some of the most famous vanilla pvp videos on youtube for "archiving" purposes, but it guarantees them good advertising and visibility among nostalgic players too.
