A possible difference between Kronos and Nostalrius

No. Kronos made this quite clear from the beginning, it was decided together with their old community that the best thing to do was to make a fresh start. But I think Nostalrius should stick with the character restoration. I would have preferred a complete wipe, but at this point I'm afraid that former players could consider this a break of promises.

After trolling thru these forums for the first time for a couple of hours I can already see a difference in the Nostalrius and kronos "communities!" This server seems more hell-bent on keeping EVERYTHING as close to the original (a very good thing) as possible, and on kronos they still keep having debates over XP rates even (tho to be fair... a lot of good peeps posting there as well.)

There are just more "complainers" on Kronos it seems, and this forum has a kinda "Rebirth" attitude (another good thing!)

I really do agree with other posters that an earlier release than Kronos would be extremely beneficial to the serves population and progress.

I think they will end up going with 1x, but it doesn't matter, eventually you'll be able to just buy max level characters. I doubt it'll be there day 1, but it will be coming for that server. I doubt it'll take more than a few months post release to open the store and sell any class you want. The characters are sold from other players, not conjured out of the air, so they must be leveled first. But over time, they will only become increasingly common. Players will no doubt level classes just to throw them away, along with sell unwanted characters they want to retire, buying new ones.

I registered on their forum to discuss about the character auction and I got censored and banned 3 times.
2 page long conversation have been censored.
If you say something they don't like about them you are soon to be censored and banned.

Made an account here, read through the forums and wanted to respond, specifically to you.

There was no discussion, you cant behave, youre rude and you trashtalk. You just keep proving your intelligence, as I read through the pages. Goldies like "Imo, Kronos will be even worse than emerald dream." or "they ban you for blinking through doors instead of making it impossible like Nostalrius does" and making up pointless nonsense like AQ/Naxx might never be open on Kronos.

Its quite funny, most of the people dont know Kronos, but there are some people like you who try to manipulate your community, into thinking in black and white. We are good, they are bad.
Oh grow up please, you dont see Nostalrius mentioned in every topic at Kronos, because we try to focus on our own server, instead of others. If we had people like you on there (luckily we dont), they would be spamming topics and laughing at your web traffic and lack of forum activity. "Look at this server, 10k web traffic, 1/3 being french, and some older players might get 55+ characters!1!1!!1!" or whatever.

You can read through the topic you mentioned, and you will find some people hating on the feature, but not in a provocative way, that bashes the server.

I hope you get to read this, and think about it please.

On Kronos forum, I wasnt bashing or being rude or anything, so your statement is false.
I didnt even mention Nostalrius there.

the only reason I got banned and censored is that they just doesnt want people to tell it is "not vanilla" to have a character auction, a funny cash shop, a locked XP bar for twinks, and 10g respec.

On nostalrius forum, people started to mention Kronos and compare it Nostalrius, I just answered them what I think, that's all. (not vanilla like at all, already monetizing alot of things, probably interested in making money for themselves regarding their donation system)

The things I listed above are valid arguments, if we do not have "your" people here bashing us about trafic or hype, it's just because most of them are not as stupid as you are.

Sure, everyone can have opinions. But lying is uncool. I dont think you believe most of the things you say, like Kronos will be worse than ED.. Or AQ/Naxx never being released.
You maybe just hope some people will believe you. No need for the hate train, stop being insecure and focus on the positives of your server if you truly believe you are superior.
Last part was me imitating you. I have nothing against this server, I actually posted a nostalrius video on the forums that I liked.

I do hope both servers will succeed, believe it or not.
Relations between the servers could be more friendly, were all just players who are looking to enjoy the same thing.

Well I actually belive everyting I said about Kronos, and never lied.
I do not force anyone to belive me, I never pretended like what I said was based on some scientific studies.
Anyway some things I said are Facts (not vanilla like, censorship) and some things I said are just my opinion people who will read me are free to think by themselves.

To be clear, I'm not affiliated to Nostalrius, I'm just a guy willing to find a real vanilla like server.
I think I've found one.
