I understand and agree with your blizzlike statement but thats unlikely too happen as blizzard isnt running the server. Its just a few dudes running this place, shits bound to happen as this isnt run by an actual company.

In my opinion, the server owners should make some kind of statement explaining why this is or isnt acceptable behavior from staff then stick by it in the future. As it stands now, im not sure what people want to happen beyond kicking the GM that did this?

Agreed. With a server population this large, it requires a proportionately large GM task force. Seeing as how people in the top guilds play the most, usually there will be some comingling between those players and the administrative staff. We can only ask that those GMs remember that they are GMs first, and raiders second, and to not show blatant favoritism to their own guild (or to even inform their guild that they have GM powers).

As far as I can tell, what we want is accountability, and honest communication. The communication is getting there, but it doesn't seem honest to us. It's clear that there is no logs by the way certain posts were written, or if there were logs, they are trashed after a certain amount of time.

We are hoping that these incidents don't become commonplace in the future (could you imagine one guild being given a leg up in the AQ40 gong quest?), as we, and many other guilds, come here for fair competition. Not mostly fair. Fair.

Im assuming the admins are in france? They are probably sleeping. Why not give them a few hours to respond before blowing up? I get that they have been quiet in the past on things but damn, its like 7am where they are.

If they dont say anything in like the next 6 hours then by all means mob up.

As much as this drama and case intrigues me, this has been the case with Grizzly before. Remember their 10+ page thread that was just spam about Rag not having any loot the first time? Yeah, that was during the time of 3-6 AM or so France time, and yet they whined about Admins not responding and ignoring them while spamming the thread more.

I don't think they quite grasp time zones and people's sleep schedules. They're probably going to reply to this post of mine by telling me that they were spamming the thread and complaining "ironically", but come on, it's totally unnecessary and makes you come off as either an asshole, or entitled.

But that's besides the main point here.. This new GM conspiracy is interesting, I'm excited to see where it goes from here in the next few hours. The worst thing was really all that editing and thread lockout of the Exiled topic after the GM post mistake - that just paints a BIG red flag over the whole thing. But there's no concrete evidence yet of anything besides people's own words and shouting. As a bystander that means nothing to me, but it's food for thought.

I heard Dire Maul is going to have custom loot tables. This server has the potential to be the best available 1.12.1 server, but the people running it are ruining it with custom bullshit. All people want from a 1.12.1 server is for bugs to be fixed, reasonable release times for raids, and unbiased server staff. No one cares about crappy item stats that are supposed to make the game "harder" when in actuality it's custom crap and it's boring.

Nostalrius staff, stop trying to artificially prolong progression with boring loot (obviously didn't work for MC LOL), keep your GMs under control, and keep up the great coding and bug fixes. You have one of the criteria down for being the best server, the 1.12.1 dream server, which is good scripts and quick bug fixing. All you need to do to make people happy is CONTROL YOUR GMs and get rid of the custom crap. Don't let the large population lul you into complacency or Nostalrius will end up being Feenix 2.0

We told them about Zetox being teleported in weeks ago, it was not dealt with. I explained this previously.

Where did you hear that? Do you mean the item progression in general? Or some specific new custom stuff?

Do you guys expect any different from Nostalrius? The server is barely 2 months old and they've already surpassed a Molten-esque reputation of corruption and incompetence. They ban players with zero proof yet protect players who have proven to exploit. All of the issues have been swept under the rug time and again instead of being addressed. The staff treat the server like their own personal playground, but always remember they have 100% faith in their staff.

It's amazing how many injustices keep happening and Nostalrius is silent yet the innocent players who are the foundation of the server get punished.

Don't take my word though I was banned for playing with a gamepad because the staff didn't even know it was possible yet we have GMs actually breaking the rules and nothing happens.

Bottom line this has the ability to be THE vanilla server, but don't think that because you have 6k players today you'll still have them next week or next month. Things like this and what has already happened since launch are what kill a server.
