Agreed. I prefer there not be transfers to the PvE server. There will be plenty of new players who will come in that have been waiting for a PvE vanilla server.

Unless of course you're expecting Nost to give free transfers for your character to said hypothetical second server, but I question the plausibility of that...

You guys just don't get it. It's cool that some of you are fine with that "fun" server but apparently most people aren't lol. I think most people actually want a server that tries to recreate how the game actually was. That server isn't even trying. I'm pretty sure they just have money in mind if they are willing to have cross faction mounts. If they had no donation system/ convenience features and didn't mess around with many other things I'm sure they would have a much higher pop. Whenever I used to check their forums the top thread was literally complaining about Nos so that probably didn't help much.

What I don't honestly understand is why people insist that second server of theirs being called Nostalrius instead of something else. It just doesn't make any sense.

Seems to me that people would rather wait for an x amount of time for Nost staff to announce something about a second server, which may or may not even happen, than roll on a different server. Some might even go so far that they get tired of Nost's problems and then quit altogether. Why is that? And please don't say it's because Nost is the only high quality vanilla server around, because we all know that's not true.

And Kdg, you can't honestly think that those things you mentioned about K, that don't even affect ones game play, are the only reason for the population difference? If they are, then I guess there's just something I'm missing, because I don't understand why anybody would mind a 10g respec cap so much that they'd rather deal with all the ganking and NPC slaughtering, all the fighting for mobs, all the lag and dc issues, the reduced draw distance and everything else that Nost is, unfortunately, suffering from.
