Well one is from June and the other is from November? Also those ban appeal threads on behalf of the banned bot accounts clearly said they were banned for botting but you keep doing it because you have a mail from several months ago that said it wasn't botting but multiboxing.

The rules against multiboxing are there to prevent people from multiboxing, these people pretend they believe they are there to prevent one account from being part of some form of multiboxing.
This is exploiting Nostalrius's lenient policy on the matter.

Remember that one time NOPE killed Rag 70 to 0 with no tank and it was completely overshadowed by GRIZZLY having one mob bug out on them.

Winjax´s PC is not even good enough to have two clients up at the same time. He´s a portugese. They´re poor.

You guys don´t seem to understand the term "multibox". Here the explanation: You need to be logged on from the same IP with two different clients.

When you stand there, with a level 60 character and checking for Azuregos and do literally nothing else... is that multiboxing to you?

We´re not using low level character except level 20 summoning warlocks (and even those are just getting logged in when the maincharacter is logged offline) to get the numbers growing by getting the PvPers summoned. Everyone else is logged off in Azshara.

Here a clarification: We used a macro at the end of August / start of September that would automatically try to target a certain boss and if it´s successful it would write a message in the guildchat.
By the time we used that, there wasn´t any rule against it. It is a normal macro that was also usable on retail.

One day the spycharacter was getting kicked in the middle of the night and the account turned out to be banned. We messaged the GM squad and appealed the account (it wasnt a level 1 even, it was a legit account with 7x level 20 warlocks placed in different locations of the world). We got told that the addon (supermacro) itself isn´t forbidden but that the usage of the macro is something the Noststaff would rather not like to see being used (Check the respond from Daemon in Vices post).

From that time on (as said, that is from 4-5 months ago) there wasn´t ANY lowlevel character included in the process of camping or spying worldbosses at all anymore. Every account that has been used for that beforehand legal action has been banned for "botting". Yes, "botting" - as they said they consider using that macro as some kind of "botting" eventho it´s not the original meaning of the word. Again, its a blizzlike script that wasn´t ever before considered as some kind of "plsdon´tuse" on ANY server ever.
We adapted and started to move our characters to the zones if a spawnwindow was up or if we knew we´d have nothing better to do or wanted to logg out.

This whole post and the fact that it produced 14 pages of bullshit is fun - a lot of people are enjoying it - but it´s not really bringing us anywhere.
