I love this server, and as horde I love running around in a gank squad making the alliance leveling a hell. Yesterday we camped 5 alliance for 45 min and it was really funny chasing them down. The horde are actually working together and manage to use the chat for organizing Wpvp. If you are being camped, just logoff for 30 min, make a cup a tee or fo something else, when you login again you can play again.

It's a pvp server, remember. Either quit, play or reroll horde. Problem solved. This server has 6k+ player and some few crybabies leaving means nothing.

QQ moar. Alliance leveling is fine L2P.

Such skill, many pvp, much strong, wow. I think you missed the part where everyone is either quitting or rolling Horde, l2read.

The server peaked at 6.4k today, ally has more raiding guilds and more premades and population is split 55-45. You are just butthurt that you got killed.
Nobody cares if you quit, I wish you would

I'm currently a Level 44 human mage and so far it really wasn't too bad, especially in STV. Sure, if you come close to Grom'Gol or Nesingwarys camp you will get killed every now and then by a ?? horde player, big whoop. Deal with it, just respawn and go somewhere else and come back. But a lot of the horde players, that are on the same level are actually quite nice. I came across a lot of horde players in STV and I'd say not even 30% of them were hostile. Maybe its because I'm a mage and people don't wanna mess with me (even though I'm still a PVP scrub, lol) but often we'd even help each other out.

Most of the time when someone decided to attack me it was usually fair game - rogues attacking me while I fight a mob, Warlocks dotting me while regging - whatever, its annoying but its part of the game. Sometimes you get jumped by 2 or 3 Players, still - its annoying, but it happens, I've did it myself, its part of the game.

What I did experience was a lot of griefing. Tagging Mobs that I planned to kill and then run away or sheep them or fear them or whatever. I had groups of ?? following me, not attacking me, but just preventing me from progressing. Killing NPCs I had to talk to, making sure I couldn't kill Mobs. I had people constantly killing the 3 pirate captains in STV just so I couldn't kill them. When I left (back when I didn't have a Mount) they usually just followed me and I couldn't really outrun them. Now that I got a mount its gotten better.

Long Story short - some shit is really annoying and frustrating, but its part of the game and we have to deal with it. Now I don't know how bad it really is in the Level 50+ areas like Searing Gorge or Un'goro. If it really is as bad as people make it I don't know how I'm going to deal with it. I'd just AOE grind the last 10 Levels, but since the population on this server is so damn high I probably can't do that. But don't give up and start rolling horde, that will only make it worse. I bet when AV gets released it will get better, but who knows when that might be.

Edit: Okay, just read the text: Is there a slang for horde players? It sounds really dumb to say "horde players" all the time, lol. I know there is one in german and I bet there is one in english.

Edit 2: This was just my experience. I bet that the alliance is griefing people too, not implying that only horde is doing that.

Bunch of carebears on this thread. I am playing horde, and constantly dodging alliance gank squads, maybe you should buck up and deal with it. Back on retail vanilla, it was just as bad, and Blizzard has never handed out bans for camping on a pvp server. If you say you got one, you are a liar, there were times I camped people for HOURS, and when they spirit rezzed, I camped them in the graveyard too. The only time I was asked to stop by a GM, was when I was rooftop camping in darkshire.

I rolled horde, expecting there to be more alliance on the server like it was in vanilla, because of all the "pretty races" on alliance attracting all the kiddies. If you want to be a bitch, and quit, go for it. There will always be new people coming to the server, because it is free, and over 12 million people played wow at it's peak, I am sure many of them will hear about the server and try it out. Some will stay, and some won't.

No, it was nowhere near this bad.

I've gone about 10 times during both primetime and off hours to the burning steppes Alliance flightpoint over the past 3 days and every single time it has been camped by the same horde guild.

Guess every vanilla server was a low pop shitty server then because none of the retail ones had a population 6k+

I guess so. But my server still had 60s everywhere, camping flightpaths, gank squads roaming all over the place, 40 man groups camping an entire zone keeping it locked down. Hell, my first server, didn't even have BGs out yet, when I was leveling, you think this server has mad gankers, try that shit for a bit, you would probably /wrist.

Played a 52 Alliance Warrior.

It was nearly impossible to live longer then 5 minutes. I stopped playing on Nost and changed the Server. I'am very happy with the change. Now i can actually play the game, instead of getting ganked -nonstop-.
