they know they arent. they just have the largest amount of no life dweebs who are willing to play 24/7 to go for server firsts (on private servers l m a o).
drawn out content means more time for other guilds to gear up which means actual competition for server firsts of the next raid tiers. Bwl server first would have been taken by dreamstate or nope no matter if grizzly left or not.
If you were around when mc was cleared and remember how much shit they talked and gloated about "server first mc clear" you know that they are quitting to spare themselves of the embarrassment of losing server first bwl to better guilds.
grizzly players are the pve equivalent of people who go for r14. they have a lot of time but arent even nearly as good as they think
Thanks. This makes a lot of sense. I wasn't around for the first MC clears, I joined a few weeks afterwards. Thing is though, the most "valid" metric for the skill of a guild right now is MC clear time. GRIZZLY get shat all over by a ton of other guilds if we go by this and not just "LOL FIRST LOL" (which as you said, is a measure of poopsocking rather than actual skill). The fact that other guilds consist of people with actual real life jobs and obligations who can't be online to camp server firsts does not make GRIZZLY the top guild by any means.
