Good luck. Nostalrius has spoken. They can ban you at any time, any where, for anything they suddenly decide is a bug. No warning, no recourse.

If you weren't banned, then GREAT! You have a reprieve where you can tiptoe through your levelling and raiding, and hope that you don't accidentally trip over something that is decided (in retrospect) to be a bug. And YOU were exploiting it. Shame on YOU.

Is there any chance we can get a reply from the nost staff on this? Its extremely concerning that players are permanently banned for farming at an extreme level for what is decided to be an exploit, where there is no evidence that it is.

You say they have exploited a bug, however ive looked and theres no reliable publicly available information to support this issue one way or another. I.e. nobody can proove how the respawn worked.

With that in mind could the admins please provide an complete list of things we are allowed to farm on the cooldown/respawn timers so I dont have to worry about getting banned.

It isn't impossible.

Unfortunately they might have been silent for too long to ever comfortably address this issue again.

1) Legitimate people were banned with real farmers.

2) Nostalrius is free, with unpaid moderation

3) You are demanding volunteers devote another 15 hours a week so people like you can apply no caution to your game play and put all onus onto the player base and moderation

Level another character or fuck off you cunt.

your time is particularly worthless in the grand scheme of society so you shouldn't feel like you've wasted a thing.

Pretty much the point yes. People were banned for actions that a reasonable person would consider to not be an exploit.

pmizz wrote:2) Nostalrius is free, with unpaid moderation

True.

False. Unbanning these players should only take seconds. Really there is no extra work involved. What imaginary scenario are you making up in your head?

You seem to be not only stupid, but also a terrible person. Thundercats must be thrilled to have you.

They've given you their answer. And Nos staff have never gone back on a decision.

Don't expect any clarification either, if they say you're banned, you're banned.

I've never wanted someone to get caught in a random ban wave because they did something they didn't know was a bug before, but now I do.

They reverse bans all the time and apologize to the player(s) involved. Unless the ban was justified.
