An Open Letter From <GRIZZLY>

It's sad that GRIZZLY has left the server. Everyone has to understand that it is because of their dedication, along with a select few other guilds on this server, that we have the content that we do have. Player testing and bug reporting on their end took months of bashing keys on a test server. I adore and thank the guilds and players that have taken the time to help ensure the rest of the player base have enjoyable content. With all that being said, what guild/guilds are going to take their place in content testing? I feel that this server is going to be more "Feenix like" than "Blizz like". Expect Multiple bugs that never get fixed because players won't feel strongly about the content and won't have the testicles to stand up and fight GM's for months about content fixes.

After reading this whole thread, I agree with GRIZZLY on a lot of things like there being an enormous lack of communication between staff and players, failure to provide the content release schedule as promised, etc. However I would like to point out that all of my interactions with GMs of all levels, ranging from "GM Literally who" to people like Daemon were all extremely positive and professional. I have faith in Nost staff and the server as a whole.

As somebody who came to Nostalrius from other private server projects (Most notably feenix), the fact that fucking ANYTHING is being released and/or fixed (even somewhat) is a breath of fresh air and gives me hope that the staff actually care about the server. Here's to hoping this open letter inspires the staff to acknowledge the problems and work towards continuing to create a good Warcraft experience for thousands of people.

RIP GRIZZLY. While I honestly think a large portion of the population is happy to see you go, I know for a fact that the loss of a large number of fantastic players is never a good thing. Would have loved to play with you at the top level but playing with a guild full of long time friends I love (and hate) will forever be more important. Maybe next time.

As someone stated earlier, the majority of us are here to play this game for "fun"; the sake of having fun. I personally don't care to race to endgame in the spirit of competition and I'm guessing a great majority of other people don't either.

It would be a loss for you to leave insofar as helping the devs with test realm, but outside of that Grizzly's contribution to the server at large has been you guys running around like a bunch of assholes disrupting whatever you could, where ever you could for your "fun".

When you aren't maniaclly fixated on getting what you will have for yourselves, you're aimlessly and mindlessly being a bunch of tools. You won't be missed.
