This has shown that no, addons and macros are not safe and can get you in trouble. It is a horrible precedent and that so many people join the "haha qq moar" chants rather than realize that the vast majority of complainers here are people personally unaffected by the bannings directly.

Let's be honest here, it wasn't the API call or /script or w/e. People opened their cryholes to the GMs about premades and in their ignorance they not only banned people for doing something that was done on live, but took a dump all over their testers in the same sentence.

It's not API or addons, if you do something that makes the pubbies whine and they don't know who is right, you'll be looking at a ban too.

Dunno which server have u played on, i've played vanilla wow from day 1 and till TBC, spending most time in AV, and i've never seen a premade 40 ppl AV. EVER.
