How did you discover Nostalrius ?

Hadn't heared of it, but on the evening of Nostalrius launch (of which I was unaware) people in my guild at The Rebirth were talking about this server where the starting zones were flooding with players. So I asked what they were talking about. They said "Nos". I Googled it, installed it, and haven't been back on The Rebirth since (even though I had really good times there).

I found it through feenix censorship. if you would mention another server it would write 'Carl is the best and we love him' in feenix chat.

I didn't know who Carl was so curiosity brought me here . (even though carl might be yet another server )

hehe Carl was the owner of cWoW, one of the first vanilla servers. The server was horrific broken (for example +heal did not scale at all for paladins). But hell the community of the server was nice.

Carl also added the feature, if u wanted to post ANY link in worldchat, that u would say "Carl is the best and we love him". The feenix owners are kind of fanboys of carl, so they took over this thing.

cWoW was shut down in late2010 or early 2011 can't quite remember.

Rumors say that Carl works now for kronos, but to this day i found no proof of it.
