Exactly, Nostalrius devs are slacking and they need to step up their game. Also scrap that whole bugtracker nonsense, it's just a lazy excuse not to have to deal with player complaints.

There's a few problems here.

By eliminating the bug tracker, you're suggesting we get rid of the one way that players can report bugs in an organized and transparent way. This would remove the people who know and understand how bugs can be replicated from the process of creating reports, instead handing that task over to a tiny group of people who haven't experienced those bugs (GMs, who aren't developers), a group that is already are stretched thin by their existing duties of serving 6,000 players.

In short, your solution ensures GMs are less capable of doing their duties, removes the most qualified bug reporters from the issue tracking process, and makes bug reporting far less transparent. Your solution would almost certainly slow down the process of actually fixing bugs. Seems to me a better solution would be to suggest fixing whatever bugs you're experiencing in the tracker.

The next problem is your apparent expectation of overnight bug fixes. Having played on 3 major private vanilla realms over the past 6 years, I can tell you with certainty that Nost is the best I've encountered when it comes to fixing bugs promptly. It's actually alarming at times how quick they handle major problems. (You can find major bugs on say, Feenix Warsong, that have been reported and unfixed for literally years before developers resolve them.) What you have to understand is that there's a mountain of bugs that need squashed, and there's a finite amount of time available for developers to resolve them and publish new content. This means they're only capable of prioritizing serious bugs, putting less game-breaking ones on the back-burner for later development.

It's unfortunate if these restraints aren't satisfactory to you. But with my years of experience on these realms, I can guarantee you that you won't find better service elsewhere. Maybe private servers aren't for you.

Let me guess, Nostalrius paid you for this 3 paragraph defense. I agree that this server is doing it better than any other server, there is a reason why I play here and not on another server. But just because it is better here, doesn't mean it is good enough.

This happens with any new server, ever.

Hype train starts off with big promises.
Conductor fulfills around half or less of them.
Hype is still strong since content is still uncleared, and they can fix while you level.
You now are completed with cap content, and start working on getting BiS for that content patch.
You now realize the tracklayers can't lay tracks stable enough to not sit in said train for less than 4-6 months.
Hype starts to decay at this point (better known as the first stop for the hype train).
Many will get off, but not leave the station, and those who got off are replaced by the new people.
The hype train blows its whistle, letting passengers know new content is on the way.
Many line back up to enter the train to head to the new station.
This is when they realize the station was only 20 feet from the current station, and the conductors are planning to do a full engine repair at the next station.
This is what we call the final stop, and generally the last resting place for many passengers.

All servers do this, hype, release some content, didn't plan for the progression rate, and then decay the content expansion to a rate so badly the players don't want to stick around for months for 1 new raid. More or less, this is mainly because the game is already known for what content is to come, so people are expecting all of that when they are ready to complete it. If this was a private server for a new MMO, people would have no complaints as to getting new content, or fixing current content because the lack of future information.

If you really think the server is in the dumps, just take a break playing like I am. Come back when content is at the level you would want to play it at, and play. I felt there was no need to keep playing a hunt at 1.4 gear because a lot of it would be replaced at the gear patch crossover, and it's a pain to keep rolling against rogues.

I can't unlearn specializations for example, and when I make a bug report devs don't take me seriously.

What specializations? You can't switch profession specializations in vanilla.

Whats wrong with the bugtracker? There's players reporting bugs who have no idea what they're talking about (like some ppl still think sapping is bugged since it breaks stealth), the bugtracker helps filter them out. It seems to be actively used as well.

But I do think there should be a specific section of the forum dedicated solely toward bugs. I don't know how the devs should filter the idiots who are reporting nonexistant bugs. But the Kronos bugtracker should be a role model for Nostalrius

And next week they need to release AQ and naxx? Dude just go out and take a little bit sun. take a walk and a breath of fresh air. I hope they will keep the timeline. All talking about 'hype'. I found the server two days ago without hearing anything before of Nostalrius. 70% in this post are hater or Kronos player. Open a Thread starting with 'server was good, now its bad'. Hilarious!

When you spent multiple hours a day into something you want it to be good, common sense
