I know for a fact, that on ED good hunters usually outdps most casters.
Keep in mind that there, hunters are never buffed properly and their pets are bugged as hell.
Also factor in that casters can use the sp flask...hunters can't....

Only way hunters will compete for top rankings is if they scroll/paladin buff their lupos pet and it hits for shadow damage and shadow weaving is up and they're 20/31 and they ask Druids to keep their pets alive. Unlikely for 95% of the servers hunters, but very realistically possible. I wouldn't count them out with consumable stacking fixed

Just about any class can get top dps on a semi consistent basis or be within 1% of the top dps, unless you're playing feral/retribution/balance.

It all comes down to the player and his competition.

I played Hunter on ed and I can be in top five if I do not fail too much having all buffs. Yes some bosses are bad for hunters but it really is normal to have bosses that does not fit everybody. I did have lupos the.shadow wolf but often if I send him into the boss it would die from cleave damage quite fast so we put our wolves on passive and enjoy the buff they give instead.

ok when I understand with preraid equip is best hunter, lock, mage, with MC gear warr, mage, rogue and bwl gear is best warr rogue hunter yea? this is with better gear is netter physical classes.
