I have been playing horde on retail forever but thinking about going for alliance this time around.

Don't, it sucks.

Proud Horde player here with 6 months total played on Alliance (out of 11 years), and I was pushing myself to stay. Out of boredom I rolled a Paladin on another server not so long ago and started doing the Alliance quests. Horrible.

You can try to deny that you were meant to be Horde, but it's just gonna be bad.

Well. I have leveled the horde zones and done those quests sooo many times over the years, and I've never really done the alliance all the way. Only first few zones. The main reason I played horde was because of the races, they got more interesting bunch, while I just cant stand Gnomes. Not a big fan of nelfs or dwarves either.
I'll most likely go for 1 human paladin and 1 tauren warrior and stay with the side I get rolling on with a nice guild.

Ya I know dat feeling all too well.

For the last few times I actually managed to get a toon to 60 on all these half-complete vanilla servers, it was always a Warrior. People always crying about the lack of tanks, so it's always Tauren Warrior for tanking purposes at 60.

I take the same professions every time, level all the secondary professions every time, grind the same way every time (with the exception of random dungeon runs which I cherish).

And for some damn reason I can still stomach this more than Alliance. Guess it's something I learned to feel. Even when I was playing Alliance I got all battle ready when I saw an ally player before I realized what was up.

Glad to see almost 1:1 alliance/horde ratio. There will be some pvp. Not for me of course, I'm shaman.

So it looks it'll be like most of the other private servers that I've played where its pretty much dead after 6pm+ est since most players are from yurop.. Where are all the muricans at? where are they all playing? I'll admit I'm somewhat bummed out by these results.

It would better for age just to make it 30+ which makes up 13% of the playerbase, not too horrible. But breaking it down every 5 years above 30 makes the numbers too tiny.
