why are people even arguing this, why are people defending profit loss just because "LOL UHHHHH FREE MARKET DOE"

there is literally LITERALLY no reason to undercut by a massive margin, the AH is being flooded CONSTANTLY - dropping the price by 50% won't "sell faster" than undercutting by a few copper. people are ALWAYS buying and selling shit, you aren't guaranteeing a quick sale, you're guaranteed to CUCK the prices into oblivion you IDIOT

As for the debate of undercutting by 1 copper or 50%... the people at the AH will be more inclined to buy something for half the price of most of the auctions that they're looking for rather than 1 copper. Whereas if someone just undercuts each other by 1 copper, the lowest one MAY or MAY NOT get sold. It's a matter of how close the price is at that point. It can easily be by a few silver too. Just not half the price of the average auction for that item.

People are buying about 30 of them from me daily so I'm still making ~35-58.5 gold off of them everyday. On my bank toons, I have loads of Living Essences specifically for AQ. I'm just trying to profit while I can like everyone else.

You're really going the distance to insult me here. It's not about whether or not I want to control the market. It's about everyone else selling for much cheaper and the seller who farm this stuff for profit aren't thinking "oh these guys are just trying to make a quick profit". The farmers are thinking "I should undercut by half of the non-farmer's auction is so I can make 50% of the money in 50% of the time as the other auction holders."

I can move on to play another item at the AH. I just see people doing a lot of this shit and had to comment about it because this is the general discussion forum about the server which people are allowed to voice their opinions and concerns about things that happen on the server.

And of corz they won't ask few random forum jews what price should they set for their items.

They could sell it for 1s and derail whole your lousy market, because it's not against project ruless and they can do it. Another reason what profit they will have and why they will do it, but it's not your buiseness.
