Nov 7th 2004 (release of WoW) - March 7th 2005 (Release of Dire Maul) = 4 months before new content
Feb 28th 2015 (release of Nostalrius) - May 30th 2015 (Release of Nostalrius Dire Maul) = 3 months 2 days
March 7th 2005 (Release of Dire Maul) - May 5th 2005 (1.4 Patch Release with Item updates) = 1 month 29 days
May 30th 2015 (Release of Nostalrius DM) + 1 month 29 days = July 28th 2015 (and they've said the next update will include 1.4+1.5 together which buys them even more time)
So if you really want to get technical, they have another month to go before they would beat the "blizzlike" progression schedule after beating "blizzlike" release by a month for DM itself. Not to mention that we have the honor system which isn't supposed to be in until 1.4 and battlegrounds which shouldn't have been in until 1.5 (including the much sought after AV) or 1.7 (AB). 1.5 was released 7 months after WoW officially released which would put AV release at September 28th to be "Blizzlike"
I understand that they did not follow their original timeline, and I'd like a faster release schedule as well, especially for the early content most of us private server veterans have done a bunch already. But most of people's whining is coming from ruined expectations based on one post from well before server release.
