Who is to say you didnt get your item , or he got your items. in the SC both havent even agreed to trading yet. One of the people who gather data for realmplayers will eventually see him in DPS gear. Also, the database has your bank and inventory item IDs. All you have to do is execute a simple SQL query to see if he's a liar. Same with the other player who probably already crafted the lionheart helm from a real crafter.

If I leave my door unlocked to my car with valuables in it, am I more likely to be robbed? yes. Is it still illegal to take things that aren't yours and trespass (read: enter) someone else's property? yes. Just because it's easy to do doesn't make it legal or justifiable.

even in rl if you do not lock your bike and it gets stolen, most ppl will tell you that its (partially) your own fault.

insurances usually do not even pay you if you did not lock your house's door, left a window open etc. so much for your wow <-> RL comparison

and in this lionheart case, all you can do is to call him out so he hopefully wont trick anyone else. but since the servers pop is so high, calling out only has a very little effect.

and GMs will (and should) not do anything about it.

No one is saying its fucking justifiable you dim-witted buffoon.
