Horde's domination over the Alliance

Its all about where you're playing from and what time you play. NA Horde players will probably find NA Ally to be the campers and immature players, while Euro Ally players playing during their time will find Euro Horde to be corpse camping and immature.

Leveling my 3rd Horde Char right now. From my experience Horde player do attack/camp much much less. When i Quest in a crowded place where Allys outnumber us im 95% Death. On the other hand i see alot of allys Kill mobs beside 5+ Horde players untouched. Also the number of high lvl allys in low lvl zones killing/camping low levels is unreal. So no matter what u say on ally side are way more aggro kids.

I agree, it really can't. I may of been lucky while leveling my ally toon, or maybe the community was different a while back. Who knows really.

Yeah, personal experience is fine, but when people start making claims like "alli camps more!" or "horde ganks more!", using anecdotal evidence for those claims is fallacious.

Both factions have hyper-aggressive "red is dead" players, both factions have asshole 60s that camp low level towns, both factions have obnoxious gank-happy rogues/shamans/huntards, etc. etc.

Leveling Alliance, I got ganked once or twice in Tanaris, i've had a few ninja's jack loot and peace out, and i've found some pretty cool people. AH prices also kind of suck. PvP is pretty good. There was a bigger community revolved around it at the time, so it was more enjoyable than on the horde.

The horde don't camp nearly as much as the Alliance.

And leveling Alliance, I'm only level 40 and have been ganked countless times already, in every single zone except Elwynn/Westfall. Especially by 60s who ride by me on their mount, stop and turn around, then come after me and 1-shot or 2-shot me.

40-50's camping Darkshire or Redridge or whatever other low level towns, and in STV, undead rogues everywhere.

Again, anecdotal evidence can't really be used for much.

this yeah for the people saying they getganked countless times when they step out of the barrens. well the alliance is just the same situation when they step outside westfall or elwyn. especially redridge is bad. stv is a walk in the park compared to redridge

I leveled both alliance and horde chars to 60 on this server and when I leveled alliance, the horde ganked me constantly, sometimes they even killed me while I was running back to my corpse from the last time I was ganked. Horde players don't even quest/raid/level all they do is camp ally 100% of the time.
when I leveled horde, I never got attacked by an ally even once. The ally always helped me kill my quest mobs, and once time this alliance tagged a quest mob I needed, and he saw that I needed it and even though I was horde, he let the mob kill him so that I could have it, because alliance players are all kind, upstanding citizens of the world and horde players are all neckbeard virgin scumbag retards who do nothing but gank 24/7 and live in their mom's basement.
tl:dr, ally have never ganked even 1 horde, horde gank thousands of ally per second on Nostrilias.
btw im alliance and this happened to me so its 100% true horde camp all the time and alliance do nothing wrong at all ever they just try to be nice to the horde.

You know what I love about posts like this? Nostalgia, and that's what Nostalrius is all about, right? I mean, I ONLY played in Vanilla. I am a true OG, in that sense...I quit when TBC came out. And all this reminds me so very much of those golden days. Each side would rage that the other were meanies, and a thread with this topic never ceased to make multiple pages.

Here's the thing: your experience leveling is not going to be the same as when you are a true member of this community at 60. That is where you will spend the bulk of your time, and that is when you'll know how the community really rolls. My advice is to grin and bear it until you are 60, get a solid guild, and then see how you feel. I'm leveling on both sides: right now I feel like Alliance is the more friendly, social and fun. It would not surprise me if that was reversed at 60.

here is an analysis of both factions:

Horde:
Apathetic by and large towards others when being ganked, tends to try the 1v1 approach more than alliance, less likely to defend a lowbie area from ganks, more likely to initiate combat

Alliance:
favors zerging primarily, more likely to aid players being ganked, more likely to come to lowbies aid, less likely to initiate combat UNLESS a numerical or other advantage is present

horde are apathetic and ruthless, alliancfe are carebears and cowards
