In a bg, you are there to fight and win objectives, not fish. I wouldn't want to do a bg with someone who is there to fish.

80% of BG's PU is just getting PWND by Premades (im fine with that , really, dont give a damn) so if i wanna fish (ya know what, allys dont event engage me, they fucking sit next to me and cheering me) wile the rest of our team (70% AFK at base) and 20% newbies and raging kidos are struggling at 1st flag....

but anyway, things are not well-defined .. afking is forbidden by ToU but against a premade noone cares so its obviously ok then. i could make some screenshots and half of pvp'ler would be banned tomorrow if staff is consequent. there is no point to do tho

why cant ppl just get over it? or maybe there is a way to code something that just kicks one out of a battleground if he doesnt take any action in a fight for like 5mins

If they weren't participating in the bg's they were doing, maybe they also got warnings, but just aren't little whiny faggots that come crying to the forum?

You do realise that this guy went into a bg, to solely fish and do nothing else. If you go into a bg and do nothing at all but afk, then yeah, you should also get a warning.

It's not only a fishing issue. The bottom line I am trying to highlight is the following.

GM can arbitrarily punish us. Without any reasons, whether based on charter or not. Everything is left to their own discretion.

If i want to spend my time fishing instead of getting farmed at cemetery why cant you just leave me do so ? Why not then punish the priest who never heals nobody, watching mates dieing next to him spamming emotes… dps who ride mount throughout the game without touching anything, guys who make up about jumping from time to time, avoiding rez at graveyard until the end of the BG, etc.

I naively thought that we were free to play as we intended from the moment we do not use any bot, or being AFK, or any bug exploit.

What's next? a BAN because not enough effective?, we will soon have to account for the number of frags we do or kilometers traveled during a BG?

It's not because you dont like me that you can punish me. Thats just not right.

BTW people reporting me are the same dudes shouting in caps , threaten others and just behave like dicks the entire game.

I think it just needs to be clarified that you weren't punished for fishing. The GM clearly stated you were punished for being observed not participating for extended periods of time; you happened to be fishing while you were not participating. I'm not sure why this is such a big deal or is so hard to understand?

Once again, he wasn't punished for not participating for .0835 seconds, he was punished because the GM witnessed him not participating for extended periods across multiple BGs. I'm pretty sure theres no invisible flying GM waiting to ban the first person who pulls out a fishing rod in a BG, but if you are joining up to multiple BGs to sit around and fish I'm really not sure where one would get the balls to be indignant about getting a warning.
