A friend and I both logged in to check it out. There were 1617 Alliance on. My friend then made a Horde toon. They had 1613 on line. Therefore I think the 1700 figure is incorrect. I think that only recognizes 1 faction. I think the total pop for the entire server was over 3200.

It was a huge amount of fun. I loved the chaos, and the excitement!

But, yeah, the respawn timers have to be adjusted to work a LOT faster. Was nearly impossible to do the Lock Imp quest. A whole gang of Locks standing around waiting for the Stolen Tome, which never seemed to appear. And nary a kobold or young wolf was to be found, without being attacked by hundreds of nearby players.

It's good news that a PvE server is being looked into and the numbers during the test on Sunday sound promising. Being on a new server would be great as the players will be able to build new communities through guilds, and parties. Plus lets get that Auction House stocked up!

I still can't decide which class to play. I'm thinking a Hunter as I really enjoy the class!

Hate that i missed the PvE test!

I want to play the PvE server should it come out and i agree deciding a class is almost as difficult and picking a name, and picking professions!

Don't get me wrong the PvP is good because its there but i prefer a more laid back leveling experience, or at least an on par one where you aren't out-leveled and out-geared. (competing with lv 60's well established alts)
