OP I think you should focus on what your guild could do better next time instead of pointing fingers at uncontrollable events (griefers).
The fact of the matter is you had a free shot at azu before the allies started to show up and half the raid got Mark of Frost, but that attempt was wasted.
I could go on a looong rant about what could have been done differently, but I cba to do that here on the forums since I don't even know if you are focused on improving or if you're just whining and trolling like the vast majority of people on these forums are.

but it's not a grey area. if they want to take the time to level again, then good on them. it's completely blizzlike. op should stop crying about it.

Did you play retail vanilla? You couldn't have characters from both factions on the same server on the same account. The devs made an exception to being blizzlike so that people wouldn't be pigeonholed into either faction during the entirety of their vanilla experience without deleting their characters on the opposite faction.

But they could just make another free account, so there was really no point to allowing it.
