Considering how AV bugs got blamed on the testers, and how some received temp bans for it, I wouldn't get your hopes up.

I hate to be the one to say it, but when Grizzly brought up these issues most of the community were happy with Nos actions - mainly because it affected the premades and not them. Now it's affecting everyone.

The GMs should be clear on what these people were banned for, if it wasn't just industrial farming. Who knows if you're doing what they were banned for otherwise.

How are the players possibly suppose to know what's bannable and what's not? Anyone that makes gold gettin a ban? We all just gotta run around with > 100g in our bags and fear tapping any node?

Oh I know. We all just open tickets every time we do anything to make gold. That'll solve it.

Rather sick that this is pretty close to what the GMs tells us to do. Normally I would only do this if the grind seemed really dubious, but after this nothing feels safe. Excessive spamming of tickets is almost certainly a bannable offense though so don't do it. Unless you actually are going to actually farm something and really do need the confirmation don't make a ticket.

This will almost always be the case. Most humans respect authority to what I'd consider insane proportions. I'd bet that most would support these bans too, or virtually any ban that doesn't include themselves.

You should read the support>account issues subforum. Even the most ridiculous bans get applauded by some people. Even the ones that get reverted and apologized for by the staff.

Just look on the players that are baned for the bug when you log in and are flying on a griffon, you can be flaged for flyhack with that and get permaband unless you are recording what is happening and prove that you are flying on a griffon.

Nostalrius is very incompetent in the fact of their policy is:
- Nostalrius makes a bugged shitty server.
- Nostalrius bans people for being involved in those bugs.

Besides of that, they have banned people for doing things as AV premades (which was usable in retail, we all saw what happened to Maitoz)....

And yes, they don't understand at all that we spend a HUGE amount of time in Vanilla, just to be banned for a shitty bug they have done.
