Going down the route of banning players for using addons is not a good way to go. At all. If an AH bot is programmable with the API then so be it. We are stuck with the 1.12 client API.

And no it isn't going "to turn the server to shit". Just stop putting items up for snipe-able prices. What would turn the server to shit is more arbitrary bans.

I doubt that "botting program" includes addons using the plain wow API. There's not much of a difference between this and stuff like auctioneer scans which almost everyone has used at some point. (And in fact the auctioneer browse tab for example does everything which is needed for such a snipe addon too)

As people said why is av enabler considered a cheat ? Auctioneer is the same exact thing. Ban their IP too
