Now, I don't disagree that streaming is just about drawing attention to myself, and that I have no control over what type of attention I get. I get it, trust me, I do.

I just didn't expect to get camped for hours by the same people. It didn't really occur to me that some people have little going for them on that particular evening, so they'll make sure to make someone's evening as miserable as possible. It's really not something that strikes me as any form of entertainment for me. Different strokes for different folks, that's for sure.

I posted this because I thought they made it obvious that harassment wasn't tolerated. Did I just not read between the lines? When does a behavior become harassment? I mean, getting killed on a PvP server is not the issue. Getting camped and ruining the "gaming experience" for hours would totally be harassment. Does me streaming it make a difference?

Thanks for the advice. I might do this. The only thing I'm afraid of is the fact that there might be much more streaming going on. I might be wrong.

And the thing is, I would totally find it entertaining for me to stream-snipe other folks. I think it's hilarious. I just think it's ridiculous to do for hours at a time. I think getting a kill or two to jump to other things is just part of the fun.

Since clearly you can't find the server Terms of Use to actually read it, I'll quote the entire section which pertains to you:

C. Gameplay

Nostalrius Begins recognizes all valid play styles to be part of the game, and not harassment, so player-killing the enemies of your race and/or faction, including camping the spirit healer, corpses and/or gravestones, is considered a part of the game. While playing on a Player vs. Player server, you should always remember to protect yourself in zones where the members of a hostile faction can attack you. The act of "stream sniping" is not a violation of this agreement as we cannot intervene if someone in-game makes the decision to communicate their every move, thereby informing other users of their position and/or in-game status. Nonetheless, certain behaviour goes beyond what is considered fair and are considered a violation of this agreement. This behaviour includes, but are not limited to, the following:

Using or exploiting errors in design, features, and/or bugs to gain access that is otherwise not available, to facilitate and/or grant you an advantage over other players.
Engaging in combat whilst standing on a section of the world that neutralizes the ability of town guards to detect and/or engage you.
Engaging players through various world terrain, such as roofs that is otherwise not possible, to facilitate and/or grant you an advantage.
Intentionally not participating or otherwise being AFK within a battleground.

A player killing someone on stream is only looking for attention probably, and you basically just fed the trolls. It doesn't make them right, but you shouldn't slander people with fake charges just because you *think* something is against the Terms of Use.

Hey man. Ignore the trolls. You and I both know that its a form of harassment and its really sad that people have to ruin your night just because they are that bored. Unfortunately though, its not "harassment" as defined by nostalrius's TOU so they wont do anything about it. As others have said, add a delay, stop streaming, or go to pve server. It sucks that you have to do that but there are always gonna be people like you see present in this thread. I don't know why but they thrive off of the attention of making others feel bad. Leave them to their lonely life and just be grateful that your life isn't anywhere near as depressing as theirs.

Wow, thanks for that Vorfidus. I actually did go around to reading the terms of use, but I somehow totally skipped over this part. I think I've pretty much been served, and I'll have a seat.

Unfortunately, there's really no way of me speaking about this without feeding my nemesises (sp?). I've attempted on another forum but was pretty much faced with "STFU PUSSY, PVP SERVER".
