The topic is misleading. I also expect BoP's that noone needs ;)

I had to farm 4000g to pay back the 100 arcanite bars. And most people are happily giving loot they don't need for a smooth run. Win-win.

I do this as well, in a way. I charge 20g a run, and normal rolling on loot.

Only 5 gold per person. With decent dps in group we will be at Barron with 13 min on the timer. And 25-30 min live runs.

Need jailbreak+ bosses? ,20g. If you think as a dps you are better off waiting an hour for a tank who will most likely be in valor/blues, fine.

But I find it funny how quick you could far your 5g share of my tank cost if you where not in Org/IF the entire time you look.

Absolutely reasonable for a tank who needs nothing from an instance to get 20g out of up to an hour of his time.

Well said. In my experience it has only been well geared tanks who does this. I have not seen a badly geared tank (someone who still needs loot from the instance being run) also charging for tanking. My point is, if people dont want this kind of deal they can simply decline but they also has to be aware that this will remove the skilled and geared tanks from the 5man market, leaving only the very few who are still gearing up. It is not like these raid-tanks will start tanking 5mans just for the fun of it, they will simply stop doing it alltogether.

Boy I hope you don't have to break your rule when you need to buy a crafted item or get an enchant. Or do you expect those to be free with no tip required? Farming comes in all shapes and sizes.

Fast clear in dungeon is dictated by DPS and healers efficiency, everything can be kited except some special cases like fun in Slaughterhouse, We don't even use tank to do fast dungeons anymore, you can earn way more money by just runnin some instance for money where all greed and it is profitable.
I had prot war on retail and I really never had an issue with money, not sure where you are coming from.
TL,DR: get some friend warrior tell him to use shield and profit, there will always be tanks that think they are the keystone of the group that they need payment for the 'job' they do, noone is paying any dps neither healers, this Tank paying shit is thing I only ever saw on privates.

And then the question becomes. Why would a geared shaman and geared DPS warrior run the 5man then?

As a tank that has also been BIS from instances for like, ages, I have 0 reason to run instances if I'm not getting paid for it.
I hate grinding, so I'd rather make gold tanking instead, don't like it? you can find some undergeared freshding to tank for you instead, nobody is forcing you.
I'm not your friend, I don't owe you tanking.

As someone who plays all 3 dungeon roles, I'd never expect anything to be given out to me just because I showed up. Population of the server simply doesn't allow for this kind of behaviour, don't let yourself be humiliated.

Also, goes without saying, never join any "reserved" runs, most of them being run by a fresh 60 rogue or fury warrior.
