With or without bots, there is clearly a lot of people. So it kind of works both ways: the fact that we are having massive world pvp, etc. doesn't prove that 5k is actually real, but also, even if 5k is not real, we still have more than enough players at the moment.

At any rate, I don't think it's healthy to ward off criticism by boasting player numbers.

There are people everywhere. It has to be real. The Who List is accurate. How many of those are bots though is the real question you should ask. Well, if you search for bots, you will find them. My own estimate after doing some bot hunting would be about 75 online at peak hours, owned by lazy people who don't want to level themselves.

I already have more than 1 day played on this server and you think I want it to suck? I'd like to see this server being awesome but I also want to know the truth.

If anything, the guy should be biased against, not for, Nostalrius, but still his results show 2421 for Alliance and 2150 for Horde. But the OP's claim may be that even this is unreliable, since it relies on /who?
