Also on a personal note, the warcraft universe has always been about the two factions fighting it out. PVE servers in general never made any sense and only cater to the worst of players.

It's not like I don't want to PVP. Like I said, I did plenty of BG's back in the day on retail. I just don't like to be griefed by fedora-wearing basement-dwellers who hate their life, so they want to kill and corpse camp people who are fighting a mob at half health or that are gray to them.

Anyway, the admins have spoken and I guess thats the way it will be. Maybe one day a quality PVE server will pop up. It strange to me also that almost all private servers are pvp since most servers were pve back in the day.

I've heard quite a few in guild chat mention it and I'm in a rather small guild.

It would be worth a look into for the staff. A trial run ... a PvE server for 30 days to see how it grows.
