... I mean I could just go ahead and butcher all those cows and zombies and green things whenever I ride through Hillsbrad, but they're kind of cute...

Precisely. Heh, seems that they saw my post and decided they wanted to illustrate what I meant.

Nice screenshots.

Definetily a good choice to roll horde, the moment of choosing what to roll changes everything..

Pretty much.
To be fully honest, the only reason why my main characters are in this side are because well... dwarves can't help being mashed in with these dudes. I usually answer the question about what do I play with "I play dwarf", because I simply don't care one bit about the Alliance as faction.

It's pretty hopeless in a way. Guilds, either PvE and PvP are mostly populated by dork looking humans and metroqueer nelves, races that naturally appeal to... well... you know, the likes of NOPE.

I also find playing shaman to be a more interesting thing than playing paladin, if just for how stacked the cards are against you. In an ideal game setting, you could pick your race, and then choose your allegiances with other cities (Stormwind, Darnassus, Orgrimmar, Thunder Bluff etc), as well as having the increased class variety that retail offered (warlock, mage and shaman). But well, it is what it is.

Here we were today.. 16 red dawn members, half with pvp specs and a few with puny green items, and 4 dreamstate guys with a tank as leader guiding us through. It was...good.

Quite sudden, but im really happy to announce we managed to clear the entire instance, killing hakkar and all the other bosses.
Plenty of exciting moments and plenty of wipes.

The loot distribution i felt like going with was the following : i had master loot on bosses. People interested in the loot rolled for it. Then i asked people to link the gear piece they had in the same slot as the loot itself.
The one with highest roll which was MS too had the right to get the item, but was also recommended to pass it down to others whose same loot would be a much huger upgrade.

It was not forced but throughout the raid we all happily saw our comrades get huge upgrades, so it went pretty well. I often decide and recommend who gets what loot, all depending on various things, as how much an upgrade it is, how long has the player been with us, loyalty, how much time he hasnt gained any loot, anything. But most importantly everyone is asked if anyone has an objection for a decision in the end.

Seeing a guy having passed down literally 3 items, i offered them gold as a gift to their convinience.
So far so good, everyone was more than happy to pass around loot. Good to see a rogue with green chest that had +28 agility has won epic zul'gurub chestpiece.

Basically i seek to have people around that see their guildies get geared make em satisfied, not a mercenary-like behaviour. But ofcourse, never forget the world pvp orientation!!

Neat!

Appreciate the time and effort provided by Dreamstate to aid The Red Dawn!
I am putting myself to the fullest possible use, which is all I think that any conscious entity can ever hope to do.
