Why do people insist on making every-fucking-thing GM moderated when you are choosing to be in the guild or not kick the members of the guild. Have you even spoke to the officers of the guild to form a complaint?

There is no "forcing" if you ignore the people inviting you. If the guild uses multiple people to spam invite you, submit a ticket because that is considered harassment. If you stay in the guild, you are choosing to join them. Simple. As. That.

That depends very much on the Nos terms of use. If the guild is violating those, then action can be taken. You have no right to free speech on this server, only what the server admins allow you to have.

Don't give me this freedom of speech throwaway statement. Ilovebenben received a message from a GM stating that they do not and will not moderate private channels because the issues can be taken up from the owner/mods (or guild master/officers) of the channel. /world might be a justification if the 500 votes are pushed through on Ilovebenben's strawpoll due to one of the GMs stating that he needed 500 more votes for the poll to become effective and deviate from this unspoken rule.

Read up on the forum a bit and stop using throwaway statements.

The whole "freedom of speech ... admins allow you" is bullshit. There's no censorship so you can say what you want on your own channels/guilds. The freedom is determined by the owners of the channels or officers of the guild from that point because the GMs will not interfere with what you chose to enter.

I feel the same way, but there's nothing we can do about it because they're playing in their own sandbox (guild) right now and building forts.

Just leave the guild, why would you even want to be in a guild with a bunch of people like that?
Guild chat shouldn't be moderated, as it wasn't in retail and it would make no sense in moderating it either.
As a stretch, you might be able to report them for spamming - if they keep throwing guild invites around every fifth or tenth second as it would be interrupting to gameplay to have that coming up all the time. But that is stretching it abit I guess...

I just spoke with someone in that guild who was spamming me with invites and I politely informed him that I had declined his invite already several times and it appeared to me that he had no idea he was spamming. He seemed perfectly nice and I haven't been bothered since.

And .. I use the word 'spamming' loosely. I had been invited 3 times in about 2 hours.
