250 damage when an enemy my level has over 1K and I need to stay still 3 seconds for it is trash.

Notice how my pet deals 30 damage at a 2.00 ATK speed at level 35 lmao.

Being a level 35 warlock my shadow bolt cast time is 3 seconds and it hits around 150~, and can crit for 250~ (sometimes double cast because of Nightfall talent).
My dots probably cover the damage but i think we're around the same damage done.

Ah yes another oldfag that thinks Vanilla ( each class has 5 spells and 1 viable spec ) required more skill than the later expansions.

Calling bullshit. My lvl 35 pet had a max damage of 130 pre-mitigation, I really doubt pets hit for 200 when at 40.

Man you conveniently forget that he isn't fighting lowbees that have shit armor but people that have quality gear.

Pet damage eventually peaks and doesn't go higher whereas with gear until you get the best there is you'll get more and more powerful.

The second you hit lvl 60 pet damage takes a halt whereas when you hit 60 as a player you've just started the journey to getting strong.

I already showed you a screen in which a Warlock pet deals more damage on me, a hunter, than my pet deals damage to the warlock. The armor difference should make it clear that my pet should deal more damage.

Also take into account the guy uses a pet with a fast attack speed ( more swings, less damage ).

damage reduction doesn't scale up that much from level 40 to 60, generally speaking.
