I ALMOST believed you were an intelligent person. Regardless, there is an option for vanilla players who just want pve, but that realm (that shall not be named here) has a very small population. No one has the balls to move, so to be honest, it's really their own fault.

Oh come on, that video is clearly just poking fun at the seriousness of the whole situation, and if you didn't take things that seriously, you would have seen the funny in it!

Again, not denying that there are negative aspects of World PvP, but as I've said before, if you look at the big picture, the game is that much more challenging and fun cos of it.

And btw, not everything can be 100% to everyone's liking, and you wouldn't want it to be either, the game and the world/life really, would be quite a boring place then.

Being corpse camped in Ashenvale right now. Corpse camped and camped at the graveyard. I don't want pvp, but i'm forced into it because this server is so good and I want to play wow... that's fine. But it gets to a point where it's just silly. My entire morning has been wasted because petty children are allowed to kill me. If a good pve server comes along, nostalrius will lose a lot of population.

I get that some people enjoy it - good for you guys man, do your thing. I don't want to pvp and being corpse / graveyard camped for an hour is stupid. I'm too old for this. I'm here to play an mmo, not a shitty version of a pvp game where people are allowed to straight up grief you for fun.

Regardless of level when you encounter another person in combat it's PvP.

One of the big nostalgic aspects of vanilla that a lot enjoy or wish to enjoy by playing on a private server is the wpvp One of the big downsides that existed in wpvp in vanilla is all the low level ganking people did. Some people did that in vanilla and do it once again here; some people had it done so much to them that they in turn do it to others; some read/watched content in regards to vanilla pvp and thought they could do it too, so they do, and then there's just those that feel the need to be douchebags.

I have not had the pleasure of being camped yet as I've just started to wander out into contested zones but, I did manage to avoid the one act of retardation with "cs", a warlock and some warrior continuously camping all of Redridge.

I didn't get to be victim of this but, I did get to watch it... a streamer being stream sniped off and on for a few hours. I'm sure it went on longer but, I went to bed. Stream snipers that gank people over and over then run away when they get help from 1-2 people that aren't even max level but 2 levels above you is comical. It wasn't even amusing watching the ganking either. If you're that starved for attention in life that you have to watch a stream and grief someone and run away when the odds are even or slightly unfair towards you then all one can do is feel sorry for you. Renault <Molten Core Swim Team>, I'm talking about you. Following that streamer I don't even remember his name right now from Shimmering Flats to Arathi and back to the Flats is just beyond pathetic. You're on the level of "PreparedWoW" from Darkspear. A multiboxer that thinks he's a God in pvp when he's using 60+ accounts to rape people.

The issue is that all of the best private realms are PvP - allegedly because there's a large demand for PvP. But as Coffeebreath said, I'm too old for this griefing shit. And that's what it is - causing another person grief. I honestly question the mental health of someone who consistently griefs or defends the practice. It's usually only psychopaths and sadists who take pleasure from the pain of others - well, and 10-year-olds whose balls haven't dropped yet. So when someone defends PvP really loudly and obnoxiously, I assume they're psychotic or prepubescent. We seem to have a vocal group of such people here, which is a shame.

It becomes serious to those of us who have to manage their time and can't nolife this game because we have jobs, some of us would rather not live in mommy's attic/basement.

There is no "challenge" to be had getting 1-shotted by sexually oppressed virgins who are 20+ levels higher. Look at it this way, Vanilla was the most consumable heavy period in WoW's history for raiding, so without no-talent assclowns constantly sheeping/sapping you, it would take a considerable amount of time to farm up the needed mats to raid, especially on an overcrowded server.

Oh you're totally right. I enjoy my turkey sandwich with a little bit of bird shit on it, because if it ONLY had stuff I enjoyed, I wouldn't enjoy the sandwich as much. It would only become boring to retard tryhards who do nothing but waste other people's time.
