Actually its normal that rogues roll on pricesly calibrated boomstick for example. It's fair and square to roll on stuff for stats. Hunter roll on Dal Rends weapons too.

I just make it a point to not invite PuG Hunters along for my runs when I'm tanking, guild Hunters and friends are fine because they aren't prone to steal strength weapons from me, but the Hunters on this server outside of that just work so hard to live up to their stereotypes.

It's really not though. A rogue should not be by any means. On retail in vanilla I'd have hunters roll on STR 2 handers all day long. Things haven't changed. It doesn't matter of it's deadmines or naxx, it's not a main piece for you.
