I stopped reading your troll post after you tried to insult me.

I played on Ner'Zhul in vanilla in the Azeroth Liberation Army.

Duros was our raid leader, had officers named Serj and Pixraul (Rogue and priest).

Barotar was our warrior MT.

There are videos on youtube, I am in some of them.

I have some old fraps videos from vanilla, if you want them you can search for them.

That's not a troll post, and that's not an insult either.. It's simply an observation because you claimed that Vanilla required more skill than later WoW times in terms of PvP, which is simply, not true at all. That much should be obvious. The same goes for the raiding mechanics of old WoW.
I'm not trying to defend what WoW is nowadays. That is a piece of garbage compared to what it used to be, if you ask me. But trying to delude yourself into thinking that Vanilla PvP and raiding is harder than later versions of WoW, is ridiculous.
There's even a topic of discussion on these forums about the possibility of increasing the difficulty of raids, because we've all done them dozens of times before and they're super simple mechanics that everyone knows by now. Sure, there were fights that were super hard and overtuned on release in vanilla retail, but you know that on a private server in 2015, it's not even close to the same case.

If the overall community of any online game, is new to it, and sucks at it, then the requirement to be actually good at said game, is not hard to achieve, because the skill needed to be good is a very, very low ceiling, so it is an easy ledge to get up.
I don't know how to interpret this any better, so if you want to refer to me as troll instead, then so be it.

@ Hatson and JimboPete you are, in a way, both right. For example, Vanilla required more skill in sense that everything was new, with much less (in many cases - zero) various tutorials/tips or good players to watch and so on.

Doing/reproducing these things today (when everyone saw everything while, additionally, having years of practice) is not the same, thou "optically" players can show same or even better level of skill.

I´ll only ad that (to my slight disappointment) 80% of the vids we linked are either Rogues or frost Mages (with remaining part being Warriors). Quite narrow choice of classes, wouldn´t you say?

I will concede that it wasn't the hardest game, but I think to be a top player took a lot of effort in and out of pvp to achieve the most.

It was a different level of play

Not sure this is the original video, I don't remember this one being this long.

And of course, what got me my mounts, and my reputation on the whole server back in the time when I played, even brought me together with the chinese farmers (and god those guys were good o_O , they'd just aggro all the crocs in ZG at once)
ZG farm as frost mage https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16l2kJPM0D0
Which eventually brought me to farming Naxx which proved to be a bit more difficult.

It is the original version, Drooppi. And I did mention it in my post, but didn't post a link. I assume everyone that ever played here has seen it many times before. It's pretty much an essential video series to have watched if you ever played WoW.
