Questions to the dev team / Open debate

You already started recruiting GMs but I think you need one or maybe two more Community Managers NOW. Before Launch! So people who will come to this forum (especially after tomorrows announcement) will be greeted by friendly, competed and well informed / connected (!) mods. Also it would be the Community Managers tasks to fight for a better forum software/configuration. This forum is seriously crap for multiple reasons. There are categories missing everywhere and no stickies or spoilersare supported. Furthermore we actually need an official and clean "WoW-Download" from a Nost server with pre-set realmlist. All this is stuff that becomes important the closer you get to the launch. Furthermore the web page looks very cool, but it is only a stub for the time during development. You know that, we know that. But it's about time to change that or at least have the solution already in your pocket, depending on ETA. We need official twitter, we need official IRC, we need AMAs etc.
Why you think people are writing guides and creating their own hype videos? Because you don't! (Little over-dramatic of cause ) They Hype is real and you need to channel this into your structures, so people stay (not with only a forum, where you have to wait for your first message to be allowed)

You talk a lot of good shit but this is very important. If tomorrow's gift is a release date or even a beta or anything that is going to attract a lot of attention this forum is going to quickly get populated by the sort of crowd on other private server forums that just dirty the reputation of the place. It's clean (ish) now but won't stay like that for long, which is what attracted me to this server more than others in the first place.

Well yesterday we discussed it, now it already happened.
This problem was foreseeable and makes me wonder why no measures are taken. Better / more / any moderation including moving of threads, temporary post delays or other measures might have helped enforce some order in the forum.

The different points mentioned (principally more community relation) remains more valid then ever. I argued against the lack of structures (in regards to IRC/FB/Twitter/etc.) to channel the hype. I wonder how clean the forum might be if we had an IRC or Twitter where people could just post their vids/remarks/gifs/whatever.

Remark to hype crowd / community: Please don't ruin this serious thread - we are all hyped and news will come.

All of these changes, were only made possible due to our strong and efficient development team AND our over-all organization. As noted on each issue, some of them are still fragmentary issues, which require additional work, this also includes the website, our forum, GM training, and so on so forth.
