Which class are you going to play?

To clarify things the poll works fine now and it has over 400 votes (10 % being paladins). Yeah it's not thousands of votes but still quite a lot anyway considering that many people don't bother to vote or don't know yet. Class distribution on both sides is quite even, which is nice.

How do they play paladin? Heal and Tank right? Isnt he useless as dps in raids till naxxramas?

Paladin can do all 3. Tanking is a bit rough and requires a ridiculous dump of resources and try hard mode. You can't even become def capped until AQ40 I believe (someone correct me if I'm wrong about this, I know in Naxx it was possible).

Ret is also viable you just aren't going to do ultra competitive damage that the Rogues, Mages, and Warlocks will be doing. Holy Paladin is and has always been an amazing single target healer.

I think I'll be going Druid Alliance on Nostalrius. That or Enhancement Shaman (lols)..

You really think I could raid with my paladin and I would not be abused to perma rebuff the raid?

Depends. Vanilla WoW really isn't that hard.
You might be a Nightfall and Judgement of Wisdom whore though.

However, with how Nostarlius is scaling gear back to their original stats, slowing incorporating their appropriate upgrades. This may in fact make a lot of the encounters much harder. I personally don't think it will since vanilla was a lot less gear dependent compared to WoW now, but who knows...

Keep in mind. Vanilla raiding isn't about how much DPS you can soley do. It's what you can do for the rest of the raid.

Yeah thats right, but my both favour classes I want to play are arms warrior and retri paladin both in pve.. and so many people told me "don't expect to raid with this"

Depends on what your definition of "viable" is, Mike.
But most guilds won't bother with any Prot or Retri paladins. Because Warriors are the best tanks by far, and they're not really worth a dps spot except maybe if it's a Nightfall spot. But that spot can also be filled by a OT Warr spamming hamstring.

But if you're lucky you might still get a spot somewhere. But I wouldn't get too hopeful as a tank or retri pala.

I really dont want to be in a progress raid guild. I just want to have fun iigame after the shitload of work everyday.

Not everyone is that tryhard to not allow them. I sure ain't. I mean, I'm going Enhancement. We're in the same boat. But I do enjoy that boat ride. Always have.
This is my 3rd time playing Enhancement in Vanilla. Two of those on private servers.

Maybe I play horde if my friends are not long-term motivated
