That sounds reasonable enough. Even though we might get way higher numbers than those, if server really brings true Vanilla experience. But on the launch, I expect atleast 700 players~ Youtube video which was released 6 days ago has like 16k views already ;S So we can't know for sure.

? that's a terrible estimate. do you have any clue how many people are going? lol. 200+ can be online on the site alone at any time, but there's just a 5 minute activity timer for the online list.

I think it was just a joke when ironically implying that Horde is more intelligent than Alliance, nothing to be mad about, it's nos really an insult imo , maybe bad joke at best.

I think it's important to not overload on the hype and think a steady le 2k..

Have in mind that at the launch we might get a big number with 1,5 - 2k, but that won't last long.
People might try Kronos and stay there and in the end we find ourself around 800 players.

So, I think +/- 1000~ 3 months after the launch, of course I do hope for more but with all the servers available at the moment, Kronos coming and all it's gonna split the vanilla community quite hard.

Launch population can easily be server-crushingly huge: 1k+ certainly, 2k+ possibly. But key question is what happens after a month or two, after Kronos launches and some people leave etc.

I would consider 800-1000 primetime peaks a success, and numbers can be even higher with some luck (and some more hard and dedicated polish).
