Fear was hard to break during Vanilla. They didn't increase the chance to get out of fear until 1.2 and most of this server's mechanics are around the 1.1 era.
http://wowwiki.wikia.com/Patch_1.2.0 -PATCH 1.2 (they did address it SLIGHTLY in earlier patches but it was still hard to break until 1.2ish)
"Fear: Players now have an increasing chance to break free of the effect, such that it is unlikely the effect will last more than 15 seconds."
So basically, blizzlike is blizzlike and the only thing to help any of you idiots complaining on these forums to realize that is a time machine back to 2004

The administration of this server have staked many claims that spell and melee mechanics are going to mirror the 1.12 version of the game. A great way to lose a large portion of the pvp population would be to confirm that there will be no diminishing returns or early breaks of warlock fear because it didn't work this way before patch 1.4. A large portion of the WoW playerbase in vanilla didn't even have a level 60 character before Patch 1.4 was released. Why would you think that anyone would want to play garbage-tier pvp before any of the balance was added?
We used to be in a guild together Stalk so I know:
1. You didn't play original Vanilla, only private servers. How do you know how many 60s were around pre1.4?
2. Any mechanics you see as "broken" on Nos you are comparing to the "working" mechanics of another private server but not the mechanics of original Vanilla. Literally banging my head on the desk bc of this stupidity.
3. You complain A LOT about the mechanics of this server, to the point where I've seen people I don't even know mention you and your rants.
If you guys don't like it, leave. Nobody will miss any of yall. Play Nos the server with accurate mechanics, roll a lock, partner with someone who actually dispels (how the game was meant to be played), or go somewhere else.
