He wants to sell at HIS prices when HE wants - No one should be selling at their prices and if they sell them cheaper HE does not want to buy them and then sell them at the price HE thinks they should be.

You're really going the distance to insult me here. It's not about whether or not I want to control the market. It's about everyone else selling for much cheaper and the seller who farm this stuff for profit aren't thinking "oh these guys are just trying to make a quick profit". The farmers are thinking "I should undercut by half of the non-farmer's auction is so I can make 50% of the money in 50% of the time as the other auction holders."

I can move on to play another item at the AH. I just see people doing a lot of this shit and had to comment about it because this is the general discussion forum about the server which people are allowed to voice their opinions and concerns about things that happen on the server.

So yeah, can I use emphasis now? Will you even read this page of the thread? I don't expect you to since you're just looking for the best reply to quote that can reinforce your insult to me.

Think about it....I go out and farm 20 items.....It has cost me 0. I see said items on AH for 1 gold each....I sell them for 50 silver each or a fast sell. Total outlay on these items = Zero, Total made from sales = 10 gold.......Total profit 10 gold.

If I was not happy with the 10 gold I have made then I would have listed them for more.

Now in your position (And I know you don't want to do this)

You buy the 20 items for 50 silver each and then relist at the 1 gold each which you know you can sell for over a longer period of time. Your outlay on these item = 10 Gold, Total made from sales= 20 Gold...Total profit 10 gold.

Everyone is a winner.

I've been saying this since I started on the server. So many prices are completely fucked up. It's mostly more beneficial just to vendor things then to waste the money posting shit on the AH.

It's not that I'm not happy with the gold I made off of selling the items. It's that I'm not happy with how the people with the "sell cheap, sell fast" (Chinese(?) auctioneer users) mind set are destroying the market because of the common sellers being so shitty when they go to sell their items. Ultimately, I expect the average price of something I farm to be 10-15 silver above or below the average price that it was 8 hours ago. This is not the case. It's almost half the price with all the items I sell that aren't even concentrated or farmed often... or not even farmed at all.

This is still not me wanting to control the market. I just expect people to pay more attention.

As for flipping the items, I'm not willing to take that much of a risk or gold expenditure when the items I farm can easily be farmed by the next guy with the same profession or same place to farm. I don't know the name of the concept, but I basically don't want to take a risk as there's a chance the next person will own the market when I attempt to.

Trust me. I'm not lazy by any means though. Single items such as BoE blues have been flipped by my bank toons.

You're not wrong. Most profession items that you need at low levels can be vendored obviously. Even moreso your crafted low level items can be vendored or disenchanted.

The probability of other people undercutting you reduces as soon as you put it in really cheap. You are complaining that indicates that you wouldnt put it in for 49s99c, therefore you are thrown off the market at that time. When I did some DM runs and the Living Essences are clogging my inventory I dont bother over marketprices. I want to get rid of this shit and be done with it. Who cares if some auction player gets screwed? None of my business... business is business.
So in the end the probability of my stuff getting sold increases as there wont be 20 guys undercutting it by 2% but maybe only 3 because they cant be bothered to get their inventory clogged as well. Easy as that.

guys. lets push the prices down even more.. the best way to crash the prices is to make multiple characters and distribute and auction the items equally from them to make it look like multiple people are adopting the new price.
I have 5 chars so far, and im gonna make another 10 to be more effective.

It's totally worth it to see all the greedy jews complaining about it in the forum. The more people make these threads, the more im going to mess up with those specific items mentioned..
