Redridge/Lakeshire ganking

Ok what happens in Lakeshire is not ganking. I play a rogue. I know what ganking is, and lakeshire isn't it. Lakeshire is sheep being slaughtered. A sheep is an animal to dumb to defend itself, when threatened it tries to run away or huddles together hoping another sheep will be the one to get slaughtered. Sheep never fight back, they never contribute, they are worthless in every aspect, except for being slaughtered and farmed for hp by that low level horde running around behind the level 60 that is doing the sheep farming.

My rogue is greymouser, you will often seem him around lakeshire, though not as much unless a guildie is there, ( I don't defend sheep). I will defend lowbies that are being ganked. So how do you go from being slaughtered as sheep to being ganked as lowbies? STICK UP FOR YOURSELVES AND PITCH IN FFS!

Are you a priest, druid, pally? HEAL AND REZ! Warrior and rogue.. ATTACK (you don't get any more dead from fighting back than you do being slaughtered like sheep) Hunters.. drop those flares! WTF you saving them for?

That is why horde go to lakeshire you know.. because you are sheep and don't fight back!!!

and OH IM JUST A LEVEL 20 is not going to cut it.. a level 60 rogue being healed by a level 20 is getting more healing than that level 60 mage with out any heals. And quite clearly, and instant rez before horde can sit and eat and bandage is better than getting slaughtered for 2 minutes while that level 60 who is trying to help you sits through the rez timer.

Sheep are there to be slaughtered because that is all they are good for. Players have abilities! USE THEM..DON'T BE SHEEP!

Ganking in redridge brings me demented pleasure. It's so fun casually killing all the players over and over, and there are so many of them. So many juicy targets.

What we as a server really need to do is make a PSA about the buzzkill, white knight 60s that actually come to the zone to "defend" their faction. These guys are the real villains.

Ehh, just deal with it really. Everybody gets ganked, and occasionally corpse camped by the opposing faction from time to time while levelling.

One thing I have noticed, months since I turned 60 and can now see more clearly who is doing what, is that there are chiefly 2 kinds of gankers:

1) the level 60 baddy in crappy gear who parades himself in lowbie areas, systematically camping people 20 or more levels below him. I had the chance to run into a trio of these in Redridge. Result? I killed 1 of them 1v3, and when a priest came, we killed the 3 of them 2v3.
2) The PvP players ganking in downtime from bgs or when the bonus honor from weekend isn't up yet. This is usually in high level areas only though, so you'll mostly run into their teams around Blackrock Mountain, or perhaps Winterspring. Back when they were still married, it wasn't uncommon to see Jarek and Leoy running around the Steppes and by Morgan's Vigil killing everyone on sight.

The rest of the players will just gank once or so passing by. Me, unless I'm in a bad mood I don't gank gray characters. Being honorless and super weak means it's hardly worth dismounting to begin with. 50s and 60s are however always a good target for me, provided i see myself having a good shot ofc.
Obviously if you're in a dreary mood... misery loves company.

Tbf, one of those things you learn early in high school, is that very, very few things feel as pleasurable as making a bully suffer. Fake tough guys being shown for what they are is a very good event in any context, here or elsewhere.
