Extremely sad. Went looking for some casual Nost streaming and nothing. Not only will Blizz not release a single classic server, but the keep down the ones that want it. Sigh...

yeah weird uh a company takes down streamers that are playing their content for free instead of paying the required fee they ask. how weird. thats like coca cola asking people not to advertise shoplifting their wares. how weird companies that want to earn money do this. geez really you guys whine too much. it happened months before. dont be surpised it happened again.

We could always stream under our own "Nostalrius" tab instead of the main WoW channel

I'd be happy if I had the option to stream Nostalrius on Twitch with a disclaimer, that this content is not the experience Blizzard provides, while paying Blizzard their regular monthly subscription fee for playing on Nostalrius.

If only Blizz realized that there are a ton of people that would love to have an official Vanilla server...

Just don't put Nostalrius in the name. They're not actually checking to see what version is running on the screen. They just look at the name and notice that it has a private server's name on it. In fact if you streamed retail but called it Nostalrius(like if that was your guild name or something), you'd probably get a false DMCA over it. You really think these pricks put more than a second's thought into each channel they flag? No. They just do a search for "Nostalrius", along with other popular server names, and every streaming channel at that time that comes up is going to get flagged. It's a cheap cowardly censoring tactic done by abusing the BS known as DMCA(MURICA!).

Or just use a streaming service that doesn't just bend over for anything.

Use a different game channel:

http://www.twitch.tv/directory/game/Nostalrius

Been streaming with nostalrius in the name under that channel no problem

Not entirely related, but there are more viewers for fucking Runescape than for retail WoW. No wonder they're trying desperately to get as many competitors as possible off the site lol.
