Could also be fixed by allowing quest completion within a raid for first 24 hours.

I agree that they should have implemented the respawn rate booster script for the starter areas, but this kind of attitude is no help. They got a server running with 4k people around, that is unseen. They probably didn't expect this many people either.

They are humans who spent time and effort on this, and we are only here to enjoy it. Or not be able to enjoy it like it is the case now. This is launch day, things are a bit chaotic, if you don't like it, move on like other people did, you are not late for progression.

It's also people's fault to some extent. For example, in Mulgore starter area people ninja Sharptusk from each other instead of acting like civilized human beings, grouping up and waiting for their turn. Everything would go smoothly if we didn't act like this was about the survival of humanity and respected each other's time.

Things will calm down, population will decrease after a while, and this will be a fine server.

It was not till later don't remember exactly what pact but they made mobs in newly area respawn faster for newer servers they pushed out.


If they knew back then what they know now, vanilla blizzard launch would be a lot different. Respawns need to be increased in order for progression to happen. Going back to what works for a week and attend my garrison while you guys progress. This is bullshit and not worth the time. However, good job on the server and making it blizzlike. I seriously do tip my hat off to you. Smooth launch except the spawn time.

Tots agree with this. The population in the starting areas will surely go down in time but currently it's really unplayable. Took me 45 minutes to get 2/8 quest items due to all the gnomes and dwarves fighting over the few wolves spawning.

In all other aspects I'm thrilled about this server and look forward to play here when this issue is no more.

This population scare me, That's too many ppl for only 1 server. I don't know how we gonna be able to farm anything later on.

I agree they need to up the spawn rates, the blizzlike argument doesn't make sense, blizzlike would be to have 50 different servers to dillute the population, we have one, and a very good one at that but it needs to adapt to the population's size.

Exactly, there's 1 server, not 100 to dilute the population. Stupid decision that will only help Kronos out big time.
