I like all the suckers buying overpriced greens thinking that's better than the free blues they could have gotten from dungeons. It's not, and even if it was, you're still stupid for having burnt 100g for it. The most retarded ones even think greens are better than tier purples(IT'S NOT). If you think that +damage or +heal is the only stat in this game, you're doing it wrong, and that's why you're paying a fortune for what is basically garbage, then handicapping the raids that carry you. The people selling these things to you for an arm and a leg are loving it(I would know). Ironically, items that are better go for a hell of lot less. If you are say, a scrub Mage, you can actually hock a Frozen Wrath for example to some retard who spends 150g on it, then use like 10g out of that to buy a higher level Eagle item, pocketing the rest. You got a better item for almost nothing while the other guy traded a kidney to buy a piece of junk.

This isn't TBC and beyond, some green quality items are actually better than epics, deal with it. Vanilla had shit itemization, this is a fact.

Responses about lightwell -

1) We run the same 5 priests in every raid, more DS is redundant, particularly with 3 melee groups. I really only ever raid.
2) It can be used anytime someone would use a bandage, except without losing 8s of uptime to channeling
3) It's free mana cast on any fight less than 3 minutes
4) In kiting situations, the heal threat goes to the clicker not the priest
5) In exchange, you lose only 4% mana on instant casts (on a server where renew does not stack) and that aforementioned redundant spirit buff

I'd agree that DS would be better if you're not looking @ purely a raid situation, or if you're in a raiding situation where you don't have the same priests every time, or where priest attendance isn't good, or where the other guys don't want to be DS, buffs aren't organized, you don't know where to put it because you don't know the fights, people are just too dumb to click it and not take damage instantly or click it numerous times, yadda yadda.

Anyways, I'm sure you'll stalk the next Bow shitpost to say some more shit. It must be really hard for you, hating someone when they don't even know who you are. Or maybe you like that, since I suspect you're just a troll.

In case you haven't noticed, gear is optimized HORRIBLY in vanilla (especially early vanilla like the gear is in now). Many of those greens are their best option. For example, +defense >> anything else when below 440 defense as a tank so that green +8 def belt level 50 something is by far BiS preMC because no high level blue plate belt has +defense.

I clarified in like my 3rd post on the first page that some greens are best in slot, but very few. What you just said here is more wrong than anything else in this thread. Having 440 defense doesn't mean anything unless you're maintanking bosses in raids. Even then, rag doesn't require that. You're useless if you have 3k health and 440 defense.

The ironic thing is that even if you did want to lolspam flash heal downranks for meters as a priest, speccing lightwell vs DS/+2 points in Mental Agi wouldn't even be an HPS difference whatsoever.
